Connect your domain

You don’t need to understand DNS theory. Follow the steps and copy exactly what Netlify shows you.

  1. Open your site in Netlify (Manage on Netlify after Publish).
  2. Go to Domain management (may appear as “Domains”).
  3. Click Add domain and enter your domain (e.g. yourbusiness.com).
  4. Follow Netlify’s instructions for your domain provider.
  5. If you use GoDaddy (or similar): open the domain → DNS or Nameservers → copy/paste exactly what Netlify asks for (labels may vary slightly).
  6. Return to Netlify and wait for verification / SSL.

DNS changes can take from a few minutes up to 24–48 hours. We cannot promise an exact activation time.
